Parents are bombarded by books, resources, ideas, and everyone else’s “right way” to raise their kids.
Our time together will not be that! We want to help one another, in our homes and families, and in our Soma communities, to increasingly align ourselves with God’s vision and plan for our kids. After all, they are his workmanship. How can we invest in them with the resources and limits God’s given us? How can we stay faithful with intentionality to steward them well, and live with hopeful freedom to trust that it is God who saves them, not us or our best-laid plans?

We parent out of the overflow of our own communion with God. And our kids need to experience the same presence and power of God in their lives to be transformed the way he desires. That’s the target for our time together. Do you have a vision for this? Do you know how to regularly walk in God’s presence with your family? Do you know what practical ways you can grow in this?

No matter what stage of parenting you're in, seeking Jesus and asking him to lead you will be a lifelong process! We’re going to overview two books that can help shape this vision into a reality, and practice together what they're inviting us to do in our homes.
