gospel formation

formation answers a specific question: ‘what kind of person am I going to be?’ everyone gets spiritual formation; it’s just a matter of which one you get.

Healing Villages

Everyone has a story. That story is held within our bodies and impacts the way we view life, relationship with others, and ultimately our view of God.

For many believers, despite our knowledge of the gospel, we find ourselves wrestling with unhealthy ways of thinking, relational disconnect, unwanted patterns of sin, and shame. What if the Spirit is inviting us to listen to our own spirit’s ache, much like the psalmist when he wrote in Psalm 42 “Oh my soul, why are you so downcast within me?”

  • Healing Villages is an 8 week interpersonal workshop in which you as the participant are invited to share parts of your story through intentional journaling, group discussion, and weekly assignments. Throughout Healing Villages we will gain insights through examining the Exodus story and the Israelites journey out of captivity.

Healing Villages offers (you) the opportunity to work toward greater freedom within areas of struggle or unbelief in a safe small group context. This context fosters an invitation to be known, seen, and nurtured; cared for by others within a committed group of 5 participants and two facilitators (your “village” throughout the duration of the workshop). Healing Villages offers you the opportunity to bring your experiences before God and others in hopes of a greater clarity and growing awareness of Gods greater story and his presence in our lives.

  • This will be a costly process for you - emotional, time, and risk - and there will also be a one-time program fee of $150 due at the time of your intake interview.
